ART vs SCIENCE ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE AND TOUR

Sydney’s ART vs SCIENCE have crammed the kind of heady ascent experienced by the luckiest of bands into a timeline that belies their few short years. From regional pubs to national festivals to...trains, the three-piece have built a massive following on the basis of two simple abiding principles:
#1 - Loud dance music played 100% live.
#2 - Absolute, unrelenting fun.

In doing so they've become a live powerhouse; selling out shows, ascending to festival favourites the nation over, staying up all night and sometimes right into the morning and regularly arresting the eyes and ears of all who witness their peculiar brand of madness. Or as one international headliner recently squeezed: "how am I supposed to follow that?"

'MAGIC FOUNTAIN' is the first taste of the highly-anticipated forthcoming debut album from Art vs. Science, due for release in early 2011. Recorded by Berkfinger (Philadelphia Grand Jury) and mixed by Adrian Bushby (Foo Fighters/Muse/Maximo Park), this is dance music for Marshall stacks - heaving/heavy heart music for your hips. AC/DC throwing robots in a drum shop, Daft Punk beating on bolt guns. A tale of futuristic trojans, dirigibles, truth, youth, mountain kings and the fateful discovery of magic with the refreshing convenience of a fountain.

The 'Magic Fountain' EP (including remixes and a slamming cover of Boom! Shake the Room recorded live at Splendour in the Grass) is out 6 August 2010 through Green/MGM and will be followed by the Magic Fountain National Tour.
